Afghanistan football premier league ended on October 27, with the championship of Shaheen Asmayee. Da Maiwand Atalan and Shaheen Asmayee played one another in the APL’s finals that the game ended in favor of Shaheen Asmayee with a score of 4-3.

Shaheen Asmayee who was fighting for the Cup could take the lead in the first half with a score of 2-0, however, Da Maiwand Atalan compensated the two goals in the second half and succeeded to equalize the score and the game extend to extra times. Shaheen could score 2 more goals during the 30 minutes of extra time and the score changed to 4-2, but as a result of Amanullah Sardari’s mistake; Da Maiwand Atalan scored another goal as well. The match ended with a score of 4-3 in favor of Shaheen, in fine. Shaheen Asmayee has so far become Champion of APL for four times.

Final of APL’s sixth season was for the first time held at night. Farhad Darya, the country’s well-known singer sang for the spectators of APL’s finals who numbered more than 6 thousand people.
