Afghanistan U23 national team heads to Saudi Arabia to take part in AFC U-23 championship.
Afghanistan national football team left Kabul for Saudi Arabia today in presence of Mr. Keramuddin Karim, the AFF president, Sayed Alireza Aghazada, the AFF secretary general, Farid Mawlaee, the AFF admin manager and other members of of the AFF. Besides the talks with the coaches, Mr. Karim asked the players to compete for the honour of the country and to bring happiness for their suffered compatriots, and he called upon them to get great results against powerful teams. Omid-e-Afghanistan national team is group-mate with Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Bahrain teams in the second group of qualification games.
